All these elements interact in today’s performances both in concert halls and in videos relayed via the Web. Music is placed in a new context which allows for the renewal of our relationship to creation.

The idea of the “Janus Series” also brings into play the relationship between different generations and highlights the exchange of knowledge, practices, capacity for assimilation and interpretations according to our individual cultures.

Inspired by Janus, the Roman god of transition with two faces, one turned towards the past, the other towards the future, this new Tasti’Era series examines the generational and cultural transition and transmission of skills from one age to another so that both can benefit from each other’s practices and experiences.
