“ Visages“
A fascinating musical universe, that of France in the first half of the 20th century, which allows us to discover Georges Migot, a composer who came to music through painting, and who developed an unusual, innovative aesthetic that takes into account France’s musical past, from the Middle Ages to the polyphony of the Renaissance, and from Rameau to Debussy.
Works by Georges Migot, Jean-Jacques Werner, Darius Milhaud, Lili Boulanger and Arthur Honegger, including several world premieres on CD.
Recorded at the Klangscheune (Lottstetten-Nack – Germany) in February 2022
